The Perfect Dress

I absolutely fell in love with this gorgeous “Ted Baker” maxi dress.  It is a beautiful dress that breathes, flows, but also shaped my body beautifully.  I tend to have a more square shape so this particular design added more shape to my body.  It has a perfect blend of pastels and also showcases a gorgeous flower design.  It’s perfect for a wedding, tea time or a lovely brunch with the family. Dress it up or dress it down.

Fall weather calls for fall colors and I’m really into this burnt orange color. It is so unique and makes a bold statement. It commands attention. It reads, “I’m fun, stylish and confident”. So, when I found this two-piece outfit from the brand FRANKIE, I fell in love.

The jacket and skirt are suede, accented with zippers and snaps to give it character. I paired the two-piece with a black mesh top to keep it simple but still fun. I always try to add new accessories to make the outfit feel new and fresh with a hat or different jewelry. ENJOY!

Family vacation : NYC

I absolutely adore NYC, it is one of my favorite cities to visit. There is a special energy that it brings out of me. I always feel inspired, confident and well have bonds of energy. As a family we decided to take a family vacation here, and it was such a great idea.

We had an incredible experience and did just about everything we could think of, a day at Central Park, ate at lavish restaurants, visited the freedom memorial, Empire State Building, went boating, shopping, visited the Marvel headquarters, we went and saw broadway shows THE LION KING and HELLO DOLLY and well of course Time Square. It was a trip that really brought so many incredible memories.

I also loved being able to explore some fun fashionable looks in the city, everyday brought out a new side of me.

Dancing, Fashion, Lifestyle,

Raising a family has been the most rewarding aspect of my life. We share in laughter, cries, and moments that will be remembered forever. I am so proud of my families every accomplish big and small. From my daughter Weslie becoming student council treasurer, Maddox learning to climb the stairs, Stephen learning to put the lid on the toothpaste after he brushes his teeth (now this was a challenge but happy we got it figured out 😜😂). To then of course working as husband and wife and creating a clothing line, working on different parenting skills, and continuing to be the best versions of our personal self which takes work and attention every day. But whatever it is our family finds that our endless support for one another is what truly is making our dreams become reality.

But it’s not all merry all day every day, we to face challenges that we are sometimes unsure how to handle. The biggest being TIME. There never seems to be enough of it in a day. And I believe any parent knows this. I wake up in my days sometimes feeling like I’m just playing catch up, feed my baby, get Weslie to school, finish the emails, write this very blog, meeting #1, workout, walk the dogs, dishes, late to meeting #2, order for the new order for our clothing line, call about the fabrics, how many do we order? Where do we ship them, when will they arrive? groceries, did I leave the keys in the car?, change the diaper, prep for my weekend teaching gig, pack for your teaching trip, get flight schedule , shower (haha maybe) , pay the bills, tax season ahhh the worst, reschedule the event that was already rescheduled 3 times because our lives have become crazy town, pick up Weslie from school, don’t forget Maddox in the car, put him in the stroller, put him back in the car, stop thru Starbucks drive thru even though it s 5 pm, get ready for the photoshoot, prep video shoot that’s tomorrow oh my gosh that’s tomorrow!, clean the house for the shoot, teach class on our online dance studio, feed you kids, prep dinner, make dinner, eat for the first time today, dishes again, Weslie homework, reading log, Weslie bed time, Maddox pooped, take that trash out, do the laundry cause he had a blow out and oh my goodness it’s like a Monet of poop on the walls, get his last bottle ready, bed time story he’s alseep, oh right and now I remember I have a husband so say hello and ask him how his day was, go over tomorrow’s schedule, remember that we are not just business partners and we should do something together that’s fun and cute so we put on Netflix, to then never see the show because it’s already 10:30 and we fell asleep. Now onto the next day.

So needless to say its a balancing act for all of us. There will never feel like there is enough TIME in a day, to accomplish all the things we want to do while still being able to give as much attention to each of our kids individually, my husband and especially ourselves that we want. But the best thing we can do is remind ourselves that we are trying , we are doing our best. And don’t be afraid to lean on those you love for support and also be patient with those you love and be that shoulder they need. The patience thing well I’m working on it myself. But I promise I’ll try my best.

We are a generation filled with tasks and business but remember to live in the moments and just enjoy life.

Fashion, Lifestyle,

Growing older and reaching certain life milestones like marriage, baby, toddler, baby #2, and well the kids heading off to college to some seems scary but I love it.  My husband and I are falling more in love over and over again everyday plus into our old married couple habits and we are having a fun time along the way.  Growing old with my partner in life is one of my favorite things in the world.  Each day we learn something new about one another and our creating new memories with our growing family.
Every night we get to look back on these crazy days and new memories we created with our kids.  Weslies science fair, Maddox learning to walk, I burnt the chicken, did you see that email, how was your dentist appointment,  who was the guest on the Ellen show (not an average conversation for everyone but a nightly talk for us) we feel blessed, by the way Maddox ate dog food, what is in our schedule tomorrow? But we do it in style! Before we get to the review of our day, Pajamas! We have become obsessed with our bedtime routine which starts off by getting into our matching pajamas.  LOL HAHAHA when you have matching flannel pajamas with your partner, you have definitely crossed into the next level of your lives together.  We have no shame and are not scared to share this with you! They are comfortable, classy and well super cute.  But definitely showing our age.  Once you have tried these pajamas I promise you will never be the same.  Get your pair of SLEEPY JONES PAJAMAS and never look back.  Start creating memories now.  ENJOY!
I also have to say a very special thank you to ELLEN & PORTIA , the pajamas were a gift from them.  WE LOVE THEM! THANK YOU!

You know your growing old when you wear matching pajamas to bed!

Chilly Weather

Most people think of California as bright and sunny all the time. But as of late it’s been quite cloudy and well what we consider to be cold. But I absolutely adore the cold weather It’s my favorite weather because it’s a great excuse to bundle up and hit up a cute coffee shop. My favorite jacket this season has been this brown pea coat. I feel like I can put it over anything and it keeps me warm. And with the perfect pair of denims you can’t go wrong.

I'm wearing the "Krypto Necklace," the "Desire Bracelet," and the "Stephen Ring."

Allison Holker x Nashelle

I’m so excited for the release of my new jewelry line, Allison Holker x Nashelle! It’s been a project I’ve been working on all year and it’s out just in time for the holiday season!

I’ve been a fan of Nashelle’s designs for years, always wearing it to events and in my every day life, so teaming up with them for my very first jewelry collection was a natural fit. I love their mission and the fact that their jewelry is made in the USA and all eco-friendly was so important to me – it is what I wanted in my own collection so it was a perfect match. This line reflects who I am in all aspects of my life – mom, wife, performer. I see a bit of me in every piece.

I really hope you all enjoy this line, I truly am so proud of what we have created and hope these pieces will be a treasure for you.
