The Perfect Dress

I absolutely fell in love with this gorgeous “Ted Baker” maxi dress.  It is a beautiful dress that breathes, flows, but also shaped my body beautifully.  I tend to have a more square shape so this particular design added more shape to my body.  It has a perfect blend of pastels and also showcases a gorgeous flower design.  It’s perfect for a wedding, tea time or a lovely brunch with the family. Dress it up or dress it down.

Fall weather calls for fall colors and I’m really into this burnt orange color. It is so unique and makes a bold statement. It commands attention. It reads, “I’m fun, stylish and confident”. So, when I found this two-piece outfit from the brand FRANKIE, I fell in love.

The jacket and skirt are suede, accented with zippers and snaps to give it character. I paired the two-piece with a black mesh top to keep it simple but still fun. I always try to add new accessories to make the outfit feel new and fresh with a hat or different

Family vacation : NYC

I absolutely adore NYC, it is one of my favorite cities to visit. There is a special energy that it brings out of me. I always feel inspired, confident and well have bonds of energy. As a family we decided to take a family vacation here, and it was such a great idea.
We had an incredible experience and did just about everything we could think of, a day at Central Park, ate at lavish restaurants, visited the freedom memorial, Empire State Building, went boating, shopping, visited the Marvel headquarters, we went and saw broadway

Raising a family has been the most rewarding aspect of my life. We share in laughter, cries, and moments that will be remembered forever. I am so proud of my families every accomplish big and small. From my daughter Weslie becoming student council treasurer, Maddox learning to climb the stairs, Stephen learning to put the lid on the toothpaste after he brushes his teeth (now this was a challenge but happy we got it figured out 😜😂). To then of course working as husband and wife and creating a clothing line, working on different parenting skills, and continuing to be

Growing older and reaching certain life milestones like marriage, baby, toddler, baby #2, and well the kids heading off to college to some seems scary but I love it.  My husband and I are falling more in love over and over again everyday plus into our old married couple habits and we are having a fun time along the way.  Growing old with my partner in life is one of my favorite things in the world.  Each day we learn something new about one another and our creating new memories with our growing family.

Every night we get to look back

I adore my family. My husband Stephen Boss is the rock of our family. He continues to strive for greatness in all things and shows us what a full life can look like. My beautiful daughter Weslie is compassionate and loving to all things, and just about the bravest and smartest young lady I have ever met. The newest addition is Maddox and well he is just a ball of fire, full of personality. He makes every room light up with his contagious laugh and smile. We continue to grow and learn about each other every day. We are

Allison Holker x Nashelle

I’m so excited for the release of my new jewelry line, Allison Holker x Nashelle! It’s been a project I’ve been working on all year and it’s out just in time for the holiday season!

I’ve been a fan of Nashelle’s designs for years, always wearing it to events and in my every day life, so teaming up with them for my very first jewelry collection was a natural fit. I love their mission and the fact that their jewelry is made in the USA and all eco-friendly was so important to me – it is what I wanted in my

Learning the Balance

My family is my everything and being a wife and mother brings me so much joy, but it can also be challenging to try and do it all. I love being home with my family but I also really adore my work, and for any and every working mother you know how hard it can be to balance the scales.

We as woman are so hard ourselves. We are constantly trying to be the perfect wife, the perfect mother, and/or the perfect provider. We either feel as though we are doing a great job at work, but missed out on time with our family, OR took the day

EAT FRESH AND EXERCISE… and I will give you a couple of my personal tips!

Food source:

I have chosen to eat gluten, dairy, and soy free.  I made this choice 3 years ago and I feel it has improved my energy and mental focus. I have also resisted the temptation to eat fast food (McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc) for the last 5 years. Making that adjustment has been the anchor to my busy and active lifestyle. It keeps me healthy, sane, and able to perform to the best of my ability every single day in my home life and

A Happy Home

Maddox has now been in the world for four weeks, and having him in our home has been an absolute dream. My family has always had a very strong bond, but his energy has filled our home with a whole new dynamic. Our love has changed and grown even stronger than before.

There is no way to describe all that a mother feels for her child, but it is endless – unconditional and forever. You are so proud at any given moment about anything your kids do. They eat: you rejoice; they smile: you melt; they poop: and you praise. You’re

Birth Story

My husband Stephen and I planned a BBQ for family and friends for Easter Sunday, March 27th, 2016, but the night before Easter I fell into active labor. Being as sweet as he is, my husband offered to take me to the hospital, but me, being as stubborn as I am, said “absolutely not.” We had a BBQ planned and we’d bought so much food! I had made decorative desserts like Rice Krispies treat eggs and bunny cupcakes, and Weslie wanted to have a lemonade stand; so the BBQ must go on!

The next day I was experiencing heavy contractions as

Prenatal Yoga Poses

During my pregnancy I found yoga to be a great tool. It became a huge strength to me mentally and physically especially towards the end. I believe it’s important to have a strong mind, body and soul not just during pregnancy but continuously thru everyday life. For advice on my yoga, I turned to my sister Jessica who is a trained yoga instructor and one of my biggest inspirations for a little guidance as prenatal yoga requires a little bit of different attention, and well the results have been wonderful. So I thought it would be so beneficial to share
